Beckman HS Instrumental Music
The Beckman High School Instrumental Music Department was established in 2004 under the direction of Mr. Jim Kollias. It is dedicated to providing students with a first-rate education in the arts, and a program of study which enhances their total education at Beckman High School. Currently there are over 370 students enrolled in our music programs which includes orchestra, concert band, jazz band, and marching band. Our music boosters continually offer the very best resources to support our students’ musical growth.
Developing a music program that students, parents and the entire Beckman High School community can be proud of is a high priority. Patriot musicians serve their community by presenting an annual Veteran’s Day concert, performing for BHS athletic events, marching in the annual Tiller Days Parade, and presenting concerts to their community that are free of charge.
